Household remedy
An old household remedy, from Scandinavia, says that placing seashells
over the nipples can prevent infection in chaps.
We have followed the household remedy and boiled, cut and polished the
seashells to ensure a pleasant comfort and a sterile and hygienic product,
ready to use.
How it works
When the milk flows from the breast into the shell, it combines with
the minerals from the shell, which has a positive effect on the sore
nipples. At the same time the humid environment will prevent the nipple
to dry up and encrust.
From beach to breast
The shells are cockleshells collected by hand at fine beaches. No live
cockleshells are collected. The shells are boiled, polished, treated
with care and sorted by size. The shape of the shell makes it very suitable
for containing the milk and protecting the nipples from the clothes.
